Anger and Banging
Inkjet Print on Paper
This print is my third reduction of the punk print assignment. By using a second split complimentary color, I was able to create even more depth to the piece and much more flair with the color. It accomplishes this aspect with flying colors through the amount of noise it has simultaneously defining some of the underlying themes of the punk movement; being childish, spontaneous, and loud. The spontaneous splashes of color that almost pop out of the print create a screaming loud work displayed childishly with its random lines and discombobulating figures.
