Screen Print on Index Paper
The idea of these prints was to create a balance of positive and negative space. Although I didn’t completely do this, my print was well balanced. Using the rubilyth was hard, because cutting dull angles was nearly impossible. Shapes were hard to form, and pictures even harder. Despite this though, it was fun. We worked together once again, each creating a print, and then forming them all together to form a new picture symbolizing all of us individually, and as a whole. I added an element of “me” in my print by adding my initials. I did some basic cuts that symbolize my down to earthiness alone, but together are a more complicated me. This was a great way to express myself and a cool way to depict exactly what was wanted.
