One Way
Black and White Silver Print
I wanted to express the misconception of only being able to live a mainstream life. By having a "one way" sign with only one person there, I portrayed the invalid belief that everyone travels the same path in life. In truth, everyone sets his or her own signs to follow. I also allowed there to be empty space on the left hand side of the picture to give a sense of the unknown. Life is to be directed by the individual rather than the crowd. Life is to be filled with unknowns rather than certainties. Enjoy the spice of life!
