Stampede
Ink Stamped on Paper
This print was created by putting a cut up rubber stamp into an ink palate and then pressing it firmly down on a piece of paper. I also experimented with dragging and dropping. Another technique I used was to place it on the paper without pushing down on it. The pattern on the stamp was created by our entire class putting one individual mark on the piece of rubber until it was completed. The image that ended up on the paper was the exact opposite of what can be seen on the stamp, because stamping creates an opposite image.
