Mischievous
Black and White Silver Print
For this photo assignment I took a picture of a stranger while getting my hair cut. After the haircut, I asked a woman who was working there if I could take her picture a couple of times. I asked if she would go in front of a mirror and hold her hair up. Then as a joke, the woman took a scissors and pretended to cut her hair. Unfortunately you can only see the scissors vaguely in the mirror reflection. This is a cool picture to take because I was able to get the woman's profile while also getting the front of her face in the mirror image. It's almost as if it's two different people. While developing the photo I ran into a couple of problems. First, the image came out blurry but that was an easy fix. There were also a lot of white spots all over the photograph. It turned out that I had not cleared the dust off enough. While the photograph was in the enlarger, I put the F stop at 11 and let the light shine on it for 10 seconds.
