During Photography class, we took a bus to Uptown. The assignment for this photo shoot was to find reflections without the photographer in the reflection. We paired up in partners and left to take pictures in the area. As I was walking down the street, something was shining in my eye and caught my attention. I looked to see what it was. It was a small reflection on a parking meter. There was a reflection on the surface of the meter but it is unclear what it was. I wanted the photo to have a shallow depth of field so I opened up my aperture to a wide F stop. The double parking meter and their reflections are set against a background that suggests movement. When I developed the photograph in the enlarger I let the light shine on the photographic paper for eight seconds and at F stop 11.
