While I was doing my pre-instruction shoot I became aware of the fact that you have to be much more conscious of your surroundings with a manual camera than with a digital camera. I chose to take pictures of my cat for the pre-instruction shoot; I chose a cat for my subject for the reason that I thought he would make a unique and appealing photograph. When I took the pictures my cat was in a very playful mood making the pictures that I took more interesting. I created my final print with a number two filter because of the softness it brought to the picture.
