Artist Proof: Jenny Holzer

This was the first print I ever made. It was very exciting because it was new, and I was ready to learn new things. When our class went to the Walker Arts Center, we picked words from Jenny Holzer's benches that we thought represented ourselves. When we put the words together, we formed a "whole" poem that the class made. I worked with Emily Brower on a section of those words to make this print. Our words were "In Smiles Of Different Danger". These words don't seem important individually, however when they come together "as a whole", they create a unique sentence that can be interpreted in many different ways. Overall, this experience of making my first print was a great learning experience.
