Autumn Wonders
Plants on Paper

The colors I chose to use in this leaf print played an important role in the design of the print. I wanted to bring the autumn spirit to life in the bright colors of pink, red, orange and green. Fall is my favorite season, and I think this print shows that. I arranged them in a random, splattered way and I mixed the colors up. I want the viewer to feel how I feel when I think of the word autumn, which is at peace. The changes in color, the rhythmic way the leaves fall, all of it brings a sense of peace to me. This is what I tried to bring to the print. I really enjoyed the experience of “finding” my art outside, and had a lot of fun doing it.
