Scissors, Ribbons, and Buttons, Oh My!
Photogram: Black and White Silver Print

When I was deciding what to put on my photogram, I knew that I wanted the objects to relate to my and my life. I found a sewing kit in Mr.Teslow's big box of "stuff", and I instantly wanted to use it. I took a sewing class when I was younger and had a lot of fun with it, so I thought it would be cool to make a photogram representing that past experience. I placed the objects all over the paper, like it was a mess, just the way things look when you are actually in the process of sewing something. I was hoping that through making a photogram of sewing tools, I could communicate to my viewers that sewing can be really fun, but also takes a lot of work and practice.
