Represented Me So Well
Photogram: Black and White Silver Print
I set about to incorporate a Foo Fighters theme into my photogram. My first thought was I could use some CDs and my headphones to represent music, but I didn't know how to show it was the Foo Fighters. Mr. Teslow introduced me to the idea of making transparencies of objects that come out solid on the photography paper, so I decided to make a transparency of some Foo Fighter lyrics and cover art. I double exposed this photogram by first placing the lyrics on the paper and putting glass over the transparencies so they would come out clear, and exposing the paper at F11 for 10 seconds. I then replaced the transparencies with the CDs and headphones and exposed the paper a second time at F8 for 10 more seconds.
