Morning Lilly

This photograph reminds me how my mom used to plant vines over my bedroom windows when I was little. They had pretty flowers that would bloom every morning all summer, but by nighttime they would close. I remember looking out my window and tracing the detailed curves of the leaves and vines. I tried to create a focus on the details of the vines in this picture. I did this by creating a small depth of field so the background would not be visible.
