I ended up with pictures of about ten different strangers on my film assignment. They all had fake smiles and I could even tell that they were thinking about all the time they were wasting standing there posing for my picture. That's probably why this shot stood out right away. I remember that when I took this shot the man told a joke and his wife started laughing. She tried to stay still and smiling at the camera but started laughing anyways. I remember thinking that they were really good together. As they walked inside the man took off his wife's jacket for her and helped her hang it up. They both looked happy and even though they both seemed exhausted they were glad to be with each other and they had something to look forward to.
