A Little Snowstorm

I love my dog. He had a lot of fun playing outside while I was taking pictures, because anywhere there's snow is his favorite place. The snow is so high for him he can't see over it. He relies on me, when we go outside, to stay near by and make sure he doesn't get lost in our backyard. This shows a lot of trust. That's what hit me when I first looked at this photograph. His expression was submissive and trusting. A big step of this procedure was that it was the first time using filters. I chose a "descriptive" 1.5 filter because I thought it made him look soft and his expression was clear. I wanted his eyes to stand out and his soft fur contrast against the snow.
