Because Wintertime Brings People Together

All of the objects on this photogram remind me of times when my family has come together in the winter. When I look at it from the point of view of each singular object, a memory comes back to me. The mitten reminds me of a time when my brother and I went sledding when we were younger and I fell into a puddle and got my mittens all wet. The fan is from winter break one year when my family went on a tri to China. The fan I got at the zoo when I went to see the panda bears. The buttons remind me of making button necklaces with my mom when I was little and it was too cold to go outside. But the photogram isn't just about the pieces. I think that the layout overall makes me feel peaceful. The familiar objects remind me of how much I love winter Minnesota and the different little ways that it has brought my family together.
