Lollipop
Screen Print on Index Paper
We started by cutting out five diamond shapes so that would be blocked out and show up as white when we printed with blue first. Then we ripped the same paper we cut the diamond shapes out of and put those down around the same area that is printed blue. We printed transparent red paint on top of the blue paint so that you could see through the red when it is over the blue. The last step we took was cutting a rectangle out of the paper and putting diagonal across the print as if it was crossing out the rest of the print. The only part of the project that was structured, the part that we knew what shapes they were going to be, was the shapes for the blue. All the other was planned the day that we cut them out or ripped them.
