Ink, CD, and Cardboard on Paper
This print was a study done by Team Gryffindor, which was a design team created to work cooperatively on a slew of design and printing projects. This print was composed of another print done by our instructor Robert Teslow. Teslow demonstrated an up and coming project in which we would do three prints, one using alternative stencils, another after taking out the stencils, but not flooding the screen so that texture of the objects would print, and a third doing whatever we wanted, but then we would take all three prints and the stencils and recompose them into a new print. Our team focused on the use of line within the print, while allowing a mix of both geometric and organic shapes as well as an equality between positive and negative space.
