Summertime, and the Living's Easy

For this picture, I was looking to find vertical and horizontal lines of thirds. This image captured many verticals and horizontals that are in the thirds of the picture. When I did my test print, none of the exposure times looked right, so what I did was used the lightest exposure time (5 seconds) and used a number three filter. The filter made the details stand out more without making it too dark. There is a lot of light and dark contrast, which makes the picture more interesting. Finding an image that captures both vertical and horizontal lines was kind of tough, but the picture turned out well after experimenting with different filters and exposure times.
