Afternoon Delight

Running to where the fading grass meets coarse sand, leaping on the gently swaying swing, dodging between the bars of the jungle gym, twirling beneath the shadows of the old oaks, and gliding down the slide - at age four and age sixteen. The playground is a place that never changes, the equipment always waiting, no matter the season or year, a place of memories and laughter. The lightened contrast in this photo attempts to capture the carefree, cheery nature of a playground and the many bubbly, energetic afternoons spent there.
