Stamp Print: Ink on Paper
My self-directed stamp print was made with the same stamp print the class composed for each other, each person leaving one mark. This print expresses me in many ways and shows my sense of style and likes. I am very organized and like order. So in order to show this I aligned my stamps in blocks of two in a diamond shape. I also composed the colors to be together by two, except for the green to say I can also be undecided. The overall print shows approximate symmetry, saying that if you cut the print in half and put them behind each other they would be somewhat alike except for the colors. The context in this print shows organization, use of repetition, color difference and also making sure my stamp's direction was in the same place each time. This print allows me to show my personality and describe by characteristic.
