Symmetry
Black and White Silver Print

This black and white silver print was based off of symmetry. I took the picture on the Wayzata Docks, with the unintentional purpose of creating an asymmetrical image. After taking several shots on the docks, I realized that there were many symmetrical objects that I was shooting. There was always and object in the center of my viewfinder. I wanted the viewer to see that although there is perfection in symmetry there can also be flaws that make the picture more interesting to look at. Since the picture is taken from a low perspective, I had the idea that you or someone else is always looking up at something else to achieve with the thought that it has perfection but in reality nothing is perfect.
