I took this photograph for the rule of thirds shoot. I chose to photograph image because it had mystery in it. The girl in the picture is my friend Kate. I thought this photograph would be a better portrayal of the rule of thirds photo shoot if I made it personal. It has strong vertical lines which contrast the horizontal bent position that Kate is in. Also, I feel that the attention of the viewer is drawn towards Kate because she contrasts her surroundings.
