What is this to me? It's a room. Not a window, not a chaise, but a whole room. The high contrast between outdoors and indoors creates a harsh feeling of emptiness. It's cold, it's empty, it's lonely. At night, when it's dark outside and the lights turn on, the focus switches. The closets are thrown open, the jewelry is laid out, and its time to play dress up. But in the daytime when the real world creeps in, the room fades. The mask falls away to show bare walls and an empty chaise. The act is proven false in the daylight, but is anyone there to see?
