Hazy Land
Jewel Box and Ink Jet
Hazy land is the name of my album that I used for my c.d. cover. When I was making this cd cover I started with my Ink on Paper print and scanned it into the computer. When I started to filter it I wanted it to stand out more than the others. I tried many things but none of them look good because I did to much to it. After my second unsuccessful try I decided not to do too much to my original print, so I changed the colors and then I also shadowed what was the emulsion. After picking the background I chose the album name to be Hazy Land because I was thinking of my dogs at the time and they always make me happy so I named it after my dog. Then I came up with The Church of Snow Sports because my parents met a man when they were in France, he had made up he church of snow sports and preach every day out on the mountain. I thought this story was funny and cool so I decided that this could be my band name. I wanted to accomplish a lot in this cd cover, I wanted to take it to the next level but not do to much to it that it would start to look sloppy. Overall I like my cd cover and the way it turned out.
