This photograph was made using the Sabattier method. In doing so there is drastic tonal reversal and Mackie lines. This method creates a strong sense of mystery and I thought it was most appropriate for this photograph because the focus is her eyes. Her eyes are lightened with the Sabattier method, which makes them clearer. She is looking off to the side at something out of the frame. I wonder what she was looking at.
