Stopping or Going?
Black and White Silver Print

For this photo shoot, our class went to Uptown to take pictures by holding our cameras at our hips and taking pictures. There was no way to see the composition of the shots taken before they was developed, so there was no way to predict the outcome of our photo shoot. In order to have the correct exposure while taking the pictures, we focused the camera on the correct exposure using a gray card. After it was set to a suitable aperture, we left it set there for the rest of the shoot. I picked this photo out of all of my negatives because it had the most interesting composition , which I would have never thought of this composition if my eye were behind the camera. The stoplight is at an angle at so the viewer is not able to tell if the cars should be stopping or going.
