American Resolve
Black & White Silver Print: Photogram
I decided to title my photogram American Resolve for a couple of reasons. The first is pretty self-explanatory, given the large quote, which is the main focal point of the picture. However, aside from the obvious reasons, American Resolve is the thought that comes to mind when I look back on September 11th. At the time it happened I was much younger and never fully embraced what had happened, it wasn't until a few weeks ago while I was watching United 93 that I started to truly feel for the victims and our nation. What struck me the most however, was happiness I felt by the strength of the people who helped bring down the plane. I really felt uplifted by reading that quote and I feel like it really encapsulates the picture as a whole.
