Home Sweet Home
Black and White Silver Print

This is a panoramic print of my home. I used a toy camera called a Holga to capture this shot. The camera is excruciatingly simple: no flash, no batteries, manual everything. However, this allows you to create panoramas, like the one before you. Instead of completely advancing the film to the next frame, you only turn it 2/3 of the way. This creates overlap that you can utilize to make very wide shots (panoramas) that would be harder to create with a modern camera. You can see some of the overlap on the tree and the left portion of the house. Although using the Holga can be frustrating at times, the ability to create prints such as these make it worth the effort.
