Shattered
Self Directed Stamp Print
My print dealt a lot with symmetry. When split down the middle, there are equals on both sides to counter each other. I also made the stamps different colors from one another to make the print more interesting. It gives an outward ripple effect like glass being shattered. That gave me the idea to name my project. Also, as the pieces shatter, outward, the individual pieces shatter and break apart. Overall I'm not very happy with the print it seems too plain and looks like something I would normally do. I want do another print and be random. Not planned out. I think this print made me see how plain some of my artwork can be. Hopefully throughout the rest of the year I can change that.
