CD Jewel Box: Ink Jet Print
When I first started out I wanted to the print two look like its jumping out at the viewer because I wanted the piece to responded to the study of the characteristics of the punk rock movement. Some of the characteristics that I wanted to show jumping out include, explosiveness, loudness, intense, and abrasive. I showed these through loud complimentary colors. Also, when they looked at the print I wanted them to feel like there in another world. I want them to reflect back to the punk world and respond to the print in the same way punk would respond to the audience. This however, was a hard goal to accomplish. I needed the text to show in my cd cover so in order for that to happen I had to use an equal amount of positive and negative dominance.
