This assignment was similar to the last one, where we were asked to make a print of ourselves. We used multiple colors with our self-portrait and made at least four of them. Choosing the colors took me a while. I finally decided to go with blue and green, the Blake School colors. I aligned both of these colors along the silk screen so that the colors would take about half and half of the portrait. But as I expected, the colors started mixing in the center when I reached my third print. This created a slightly darker color in the middle, allowing a transition from blue to green. For the sake of experimentation, I decided to make more prints to see how far the colors would mix. They ended up making a calmer and less bright color.
