Water Colors
Inkjet Print: Chrome

On our first opportunity to use color film in photo class at school, we went to Wood Lake Park in Richfield Minnesota. There, we shot on color slide film, and were supposed to focus on color as much as possible. This shoot was particularly challenging for me because my camera had run out of battery, and I had to borrow one that was also missing a battery, and shoot without using a light meter. Because of this, I had to guess the proper shutter speed and aperture according to how light or dark the situation is. This particular shot was taken when I was walking back to the bus, and I still had film left over. I set it with a long shutter speed and a low aperture, then focused it on the trees above me, and took the picture while I was still walking. Because of this, it blurred colors in the picture in an almost wave or water color like manner.
