For this print we were following the punk theme, our word was explosive. We achieved this by whipping the emulsion onto the screen. In the beginning we started out with the complementary colors orange and blue, and than added the split complements. In the end the explosive aspect had quite a bit of meaning. Because the whole process was one disaster after another. First our emulsion washed out for no explainable reason. Than our screen broke and had to make another one, but because we did not use the same screen it was impossible to get good registration. Than our prints disappeared so I had to spend a large amount of time looking for them. Ultimately it ended up that the explosiveness also represented my feelings toward the print in general.
