Dynamite Dreams
Silk Screen/Ink

This shirt was inspired by my friend Kellie, she was shopping in California when she saw this phrase on a tee-shirt. She told me about it, and how much she liked it and a light bulb went off in the my head. I'm in print making why not make a shirt? I came up with a design in my head and then I searched for the various pieces online. I found a picture of dynamite, and explosion and a design. I layer all three together to create the design that I have here. To add to the effect and add volume to the print I made it with three color, yellow red and black. Originally it was going to be yellow, orange, and red, but the orange didn't work. As I blocked out more and more screen the print became more and more detailed. This print has meaning to it; I wanted to convey a sense of my drive. This was my favorite shirt, I worked hard on it and I hope you enjoy!!!
