Stamp Print
This print was made mainly to fulfill the guidelines Tess had set. I made a print that showed repetition (tessellations), but I also did something simple and straight forward. To create a more even print I practiced a few times before to make it more presentable. I didn't re-ink my stamp after I had made the print, this created a fading affect. I also wanted to leave air around the print, as to make it more presentable. One thing I liked, but didn't mean to do was the slant of the print; it makes me think of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The fact that I use only one stamp and one color holds the print together and reemphasizes the repetitive quality of the project. In this image you see one instance where printmaking block 3 is brought together.
