Death
Black and White Silver Print

I actually didn't like this shooting assignment. I didn't really like the idea of walking through a graveyard and taking pictures of people's gravestones. I guess you could say that I felt like I was invading their space. I felt kind of disrespectful since I didn't know the people who lied underneath those stones (my personal feelings). But, I got through the assignment and came out with this photo. I used an F-stop of 8 and a number 2 filter for 10 seconds. I wanted to give the photo more of a dark tone, because this best conveys the feeling that I felt walking through that graveyard. Also, it gives the photo a sad feeling, which is what I feel when I see that this person died at 19 years old and would've been 20 in six days. But I don't, that's just how I feel looking at the photo. You may feel something totally different...
