I took this shot on a vacation with my family. Using a different ASA than the film increased the graininess of the print, but I think it worked for this photograph.
What I saw with my own eyes when I originally took this shot didn't resemble this print, but I knew at the time that I would change what I saw. Just by tweaking the way you develop a print, you can change what you see. Maybe this is what you gain most by taking a photography class; you really don't see things the same way. It's not necessarily a new perspective, but maybe just expanded…
