Throughout her three-day residency at Blake, poet Naomi Shihab Nye shared personal stories that revealed how many of her poems came to be written and inspired Blake students of all ages.

The Board of Trustees recently approved plans for a new Center for Science, Design and Research at Blake's Upper School. Construction is scheduled to begin this spring and will be completed by the start of next school year.
Blake is delighted to announce that Beth McCray has joined the Advancement team as director of planned giving.
