Sophomore Awards

Connecticut College Award
The Connecticut College Award, first presented in 1976, is presented to that sophomore who has attended The Blake School for at least two years and who is recognized by the faculty for his or her outstanding scholarship and contribution to the life of the School. This award is determined by a vote of the faculty.

Michael Kim Shulman Award
The Michael Kim Shulman Award was first presented in 1988. It honors the memory of Michael Shulman, class of 1990, who died suddenly during his sophomore year. It is for that reason the Shulman Award recognizes the courage and perseverance of a tenth grade student.
