Important Admissions Deadlines

Thank you for your interest in Blake. Although the application deadline has passed, we contiinue to accept applications to all grades, Prekindergarten through grade 12. The Admission Office will make every effort to process and consider all post-deadline applicants for first-round consideration.

FEES AND DEADLINES

• Application Fees
  Applications submitted before December 1 - $75.00. Applications submitted after December 1 - $100.00. In some cases, fee reductions are available; please call the Financial Aid Office at 952-988-3424 for more information.
• JANUARY 18, 2013
  'Current Family' Financial Aid application deadline: all F/A materials must be received and/or postmarked by this date.
• JANUARY 31, 2013
  ‘New Family’ Admission and Financial Aid application deadline: all materials must be received and/or postmarked by this date.
• FEBRUARY 22, 2013
  All supplemental Financial Aid materials must be received by this date.
• APRIL 5, 2013
  Enrollment decisions mailed (all grades)
• APRIL 19, 2013
  Enrollment contracts due for new students (all grades)

TESTING, VISITS AND INTERVIEWS – When your application and fee have been received, we will contact you to schedule student and parent appointments. These appointments take place November through February.

ERB Testing for Middle and Upper School Applicants (All times – 8:00 am-1:00pm)

• Saturday, December 8
• Saturday, January 26
• Saturday, February 9

TEACHER RECOMMENDATION FORM(S) – After mid-November, give the recommendation form(s) and return envelope to your child’s teacher(s).

• For Lower School applicants, only one teacher recommendation is required.
• For Middle and Upper School applicants, the two recommendation forms should be given to your child’s math and English teachers.

RECORDS RELEASE FORM – for students currently in grades 1-11, complete the "Permission to Release School Records" form and give to your child’s current school office. Please ask that the information be sent within 2 weeks.

TRANSCRIPTS AND GRADES – We require first semester or trimester grades and/or a copy of the most recent report card.
