The Advanced Placement Program® is a cooperative educational endeavor between secondary schools and colleges and universities. Since its inception in 1955, the program has provided motivated high school students with the opportunity to take college-level courses in a high school setting.
Blake offers 13 AP courses including: English, Statistics, AB Calculus, BC Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, European History, French Language, French Literature, German Language, Spanish Language, and Studio Art. On average, 77 percent of Blake seniors have taken one or more AP exam and/or courses during their time at Blake.
