    • The Oxbow School The Oxbow School is a one-semester boarding program for high school juniors and seniors interested in the visual arts. The School actively recruits students from public and independent schools in this country and abroad. Oxbow seeks naturally curious students who are healthy risk-takers with a lively interest in the visual arts. Prospective students should be motivated, visually aware and independent thinkers. They must also have a desire to forge new relationships with their peers and faculty. All students, even those from local families, live on campus allowing them to fully participate in all activities. Previous studio experience is helpful but not required, as instruction at Oxbow supports emerging talents in a nurturing, but rigorous environment.
