Second Graders Earn Rice for Hungry People

Second grade students at The Blake School, Highcroft Campus sharpen their vocabulary skills and helped fight world hunger while visiting FreeRice.com. The site donates 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program each time a visitor correctly matches a word to its definition. The students earned 64,060 grains of rice in a single hour of playing time.
