Bonus Suggestions:
1.Moon Sketches: Observe the moon on two separate evenings with binoculars or telescope. Carefully draw the features you can see.
2. Shadow Studies: Observe the shadow of an outdoor structure (like a building) at the same time each day for about a week. Record the length of the shadow (and the compass direction it point in, if possible). Graph the shadow length over the week's time.
3 Conduct a poll of twenty people of different ages (middle school through adult) to see how well people know the difference between astronomy and astrology. Graph the results, and submit a carefully written summary.
4. Come to an early morning Planet/Moon-Watch and write a summary of what you did, including drawings of what you saw.
