The Tropical Flower

We started by connecting a 24-tooth gear to the motor and connected the 24-tooth gear to an 8-tooth gear. Then we connected the 8-tooth gear to an axel and connected the axel to another 8 tooth. A crown gear followed the 8 tooth and the crown gear connected to another axel and that axel connected to the ride.
We had a couple of problems during the making of our project. Our first problem occurred when our ride was falling apart because it was not sturdy enough and it would not run because the gears where all too close together. We fixed that problem. We just had to space our gear system out a little more. We can't take all of the credit. Our awesome teachers helped too.
Another HUGE problem that we had was. We couldn't get two of the lights on our project to work. We thought of what we could do. We thought that maybe changing the leads on our lights might help, and it did for one of them but the forth one just wouldn't go. We fixed that too. (Eventually) We had to look at our program and we realized our computer did not understand one of our commands. We changed it and the light started working. It still doesn't work some of the time but mostly we fixed it.
We think we should have more time to make our ride. We also think maybe it would be nice to be able to make our ride bigger because it is easier to show your creativity if you sdo not have as many limits. As we worked on our project, we thought about how nice it was that our parents got to come in to see what we were working on.
This is our program...
