Lower School (Pre K - Grade 5)

Blake is dedicated to developing in its youngest students a passion for learning that will serve them throughout their lives. Students at the Lower School level are encouraged to play with, practice, connect, synthesize and apply new understandings in an environment where it's safe to take risks, where effort is recognized and where there is room for everyone to succeed.

Middle School (Grade 6 - Grade 8)

Blake's Middle School students are exposed to a wide variety of academic experiences that help make this time of great transition and personal growth a successful one. The curriculum emphasizes investigation and independent thinking while providing a solid knowledge base in the academic disciplines, which are interwoven when appropriate to help students see the interrelation of all knowledge.

Upper School (Grade 9 - Grade 12)

Exploration is the key to Blake's Upper School academics. Students have increased freedom to choose their course of study and exercise their growing social and intellectual maturity. Small classes (under 16 students) allow for in-depth teacher/student partnerships and Blake's rigorous curriculum is designed to foster intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
