Blake's Board of Trustees is thrilled to announce that Dr. Anne E. Stavney will be joining the Blake community as the next Head of School, starting July 2012. Anne will succeed John Gulla, who will step down in June after having completed 14 remarkable years as Head of School at Blake. Read more
Head of School Search Launched
After 13 years of exceptional service, Head of School John C. Gulla has announced he will be leaving Blake at the end of the 2011-12 school year. Upon his departure, Gulla will be Blake's longest tenured head (14 years) since the 1973 merger of Blake School for boys, Northrop Collegiate School and Highcroft Country Day School. Given Blake’s 110-year heritage of academic excellence, the School is ideally positioned to attract a new head of school who will bring an infusion of new ideas and energy.
